THE JOB:
As the Floating Restaurant General Manager, you will assist our outlet management teams in overseeing all aspects of their restaurant operations ensuring excellence in service, leadership, and financial performance. You will provide strategic direction and guidance to the service team while aligning with the MGM brand standards. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you will create exceptional dining experiences, ensuring all operations adhere to company policies and procedures.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Lead and oversee the daily service operations including labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, and guest service standards
• Work closely with the culinary team to ensure a seamless service experience between the kitchen and dining room
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, and employee satisfaction
• Engage with guests frequently to ensure a high level of satisfaction and react promptly to any concerns or complaints
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menu items, and sanitation standards
• Implement policies, operating procedures, pricing initiatives, and training programs while ensuring compliance with the company's standards

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Candidates must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Two years of prior relevant experience
• Previous experience managing team members represented by a collective bargaining agreement preferred
• Ability to obtain a State of Michigan level 2 Gaming License
• Bilingual skills preferred
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Has a high energy, positive attitude, and likes to have fun while doing their best work
