About the Role:

The Field Clinical Sales Trainer is responsible and accountable for providing product and related procedural training to sales representatives and managers focusing on BSC CDx reports, products and clinical workflow. Travels routinely to assess training needs and evaluate training effectiveness by interacting directly with the sales force. Supports training of field as new reports and workflows are created through both the creation and delivery of training materials. This role will be responsible for all aspects of training, including onboarding, pre-course training, primary training and post training. The position involves participating in sales training at the home office and in the field and will also be responsible for providing input and feedback for the development & maintenance of training materials.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Plan and conduct training sessions with sales representatives emphasizing assigned products and related procedures. Some onsite/office-based training as well as field-based training involves classroom style teaching methods, lab demonstrations, conduct assessments, and reporting on training performance. This will also include training distributers internationally.
  • Attend customer facing calls as appropriate to assess field competency is explaining concepts to customers and to assist where needed in training customers when appropriate.
  • Work with team to determine clinical training needs within assigned regions. Help team plan, design and implement focused training courses for the sales force within that region that address training needs. In conjunction with sales management, ensure proper training compliance and certification.
  • Physician and staff Education: Will be responsible for overseeing and coordination for the development of a physician and staff education programs within the field.



What we're looking for in you:

Required Qualifications



  • Strong clinical knowledge with regards to AECG is required.
  • 5 plus years in related industry or medical area is required
  • Strong background in training and/or managing personnel in the clinical area of AECGs is required.

  • Undergraduate degree in a clinical discipline is preferred

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
