This position is responsible for designing, conducting, promoting, evaluating and supporting health professions education programs in compliance with organizational objectives and nationally accepted accreditation standards and requirements. Supports EVS workers in areas such as curriculum, teaching and learning activities, scheduling, core competencies, assessment and evaluations. Coordinates all activities associated with ongoing administration of health professions education programs.
Actively participates in TJC/CPDH/CMS staff education and training. Assists during all regulatory surveys and plan of correction follow up action items. Assists with RL solutions IR review and follow up action items. Assists with annual EVS plans and EVS emergency preparation. Works closely with the infection prevention team in educating and training staff to follow UC Davis Health policy & procedures.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Experience providing training and educating employees preferably in a healthcare facility/environment.
- Experience with strategic planning, analytical and program evaluation skills to effectively provide sound recommendations, continually examines systems and develops or revises to accommodate change requirements.
- Experience handling workflow and designing efficient processes to continually review and recommend best practices.
- Experience composing reports, correspondences and summaries in a comprehensive organized format
- Problem-resolution skills to analyzes complex situations or problems and contributes to their resolution.
- Excellent organizational skills and capacity to manage many interrelated tasks.
- Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to clearly and effectively interact with a diverse group of individuals to secure and/or provide information to clarify situations, present information and resolve problems.
- Ability to apply workplace learning and performance strategies to resolve and address a wide range of training issues and needs assessments
- Ability to develop new training programs and courses in response to department's training needs
- Technical skills to effectively utilize the MS Office suite of business software application, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe Reader, Google applications and Internet Explorer.
- Must be self-directed and able to work autonomously in a professional and productive manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping/custodial services
- Experience working in a healthcare and/or hospital environment.
- Knowledge of UC and UC Davis Health personnel policy, procedures, practices and Collective Bargaining agreements between the University and various unions.
