Job Description

The summer intern will be part of the Global Data Office (GDO) team, which identifies and commercializes Visa's data to create value for our clients and communities while leading Visa's efforts to responsibly manage our customers' data. Data initiatives span across Visa functions and geographies providing a unique "birds-eye" view of the organization and broad professional exposure. Each initiative is different and requires a unique approach from short-term sprints to longer-term engagements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Graduating with a bachelor's degree as of December 2025 or later.
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Resourceful, self-starter who can work with fast-paced teams.
  • Experience in finance, consulting, or technology fields, working in analyst roles preferred.
  • Coursework in Finance, Data Analytics, Business Administration, preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset, willing to work with shifting priorities.
  • Interest in analytic practices that drive business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data analysis andmodeling preferred.
  • SQL or Python programming experience preferred.
Additional Information

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY:The estimated salary for a new hire into this position is $27/HR to $30/HR USD which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Work Authorization:Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position. Future sponsorship will not be considered.

Work Hours:Varies upon the needs of the department.

This is a hybrid position: Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Travel Requirements:This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements:This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
