Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $16.63 - Midpoint: $19.95 (Hourly N3) Department/Organization: 505102 - Parking Administration Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm Job Summary: The Parking Services Associate handles customers at the parking services front counter. Receives and screens telephone calls. Provides a wide variety of information to customers. Compiles data and prepares reports. Maintains permit inventory. Acts as a liaison to other departments. Additional Department Summary: The Parking Services Associate monitors the parking decks and responds to customer calls. Provides office support for Parking Services and Events. May be called upon for evening/nighttime hours and weekends to support departmental operational requirements i.e. special events such as Sorority Recruitment, Move-in, Home Football Games, etc. Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions. Skills and Knowledge: Ability to interact effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Good listening, comprehension, and communications skills. Ability to work autonomously. Ability to utilize good judgment and maintain professionalism when dealing with conflict. Good organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficient in the usage of personal computers and standard application software (word processing, spreadsheet, etc.). Ability to learn and use various department specific phone, computer, and other online systems. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a customer-service focused environment.
