Position Description

The National Accounts Pricing Data Analyst will work in a team environment with our National Accounts Inside Sales and Operations group. You will partner with our outside sales team, sales offices around the country and utilize quantitative data analysis methods to maintain and retain existing customers, uncover new opportunities, maximize profits and drive efficiencies. This is a great opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to grow business and create solutions that serve the R.S. Hughes Company, Inc., our vendors, and our customers.

Primary Responsibilities



  • Maintain existing customer price lists and assist with updating price lists to reflect periodic manufacturer price increases.
  • Generate new price lists for new agreement accounts.
  • Develop regularly scheduled audit mechanisms to ensure pricing rules are accurate and maintained.
  • Coordinate accruals with Finance and RS Hughes offices for key accounts rebate programs.
  • Create customized reporting for key accounts and internal analysis.
  • Work closely with outside sales representatives and vendor partners to mitigate or eliminate proposed vendor pricing increases.
  • Provide inside sales and customer service for key accounts.


Qualifications



  • College degree.
  • 2 years relevant industry experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license.

  • Aptitude and desire to learn advanced skills on Microsoft Excel and reporting software.
  • Attention to detail a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task, set priorities, and continue to execute efficiently and cooperatively within tight timelines and with high client expectations.
  • An ability to communicate effectively and work with management-level customer contacts.
  • Experience with reporting platforms (PowerBI, SQL, Tableau, Access, etc.).



Target Base Compensation range for this non-exempt role is $35 - $39/ hr. DOE.

This is a Full-Time position, eligible to participate in the Company's benefit plans including: Paid Time off; major medical, dental, vision; Company paid short-term and long-term disability; paid parental leave; various supplemental benefit plans; and Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).

Bachelors of Sales (required)
