Solutions Design Engineer

Key Accountabilities:

• Work on designing innovative solutions to develop streamlined logistics operations.
• Based on solution design, utilize cost model templates to create pricing proposals for customer RFQ/RFP Responses
• Analyze logistical data to identify areas for improvement and optimization in supply chain processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements in transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the financial impact of proposed solutions and make data-driven recommendations.
• Assists management in evaluating capital equipment requests.
• Working with the project launch team to facilitate the seamless handoff from solutions.
• Actively participate in and support the Lean Program
• Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies
• Reports to the Director of Solutions and Implementation.
• Some travel expected during project launch.

Minimum Requirements:

• College degree or certificate program in technical related field. Open to internship (working up to 30 hours per week) for expecting graduate.
• Microsoft Suite (word, excel, powerpoint)

Preferred Requirements:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• AutoCad experience.
• Visual Basic for Application (VBA) experience.
• Familiarity with warehousing and transportation market conditions
• Experience with Lean methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Value Stream Mapping (VSM) experience.

75-90k + 10k Bonus
