Role Overview:

The Solutions Strategist develops, implements, and monitors strategic initiatives to drive sales growth and expand the company's market share in Long-Term Care Insurance, Individual Disability Insurance, and Business Solutions. This role leverages sales performance analysis, market trends, and business partner feedback to create data-driven strategies that maximize growth opportunities. Additionally, the strategist enhances sales effectiveness by providing targeted product education for the field, promoting programs, and delivering essential resources to agents.

What You'll Do:

  • The Solutions Strategist collaborates closely with key stakeholders, including Product Consultants, Regional Managers, Product Managers, and Product Marketing, actively participating in calls to provide updates, gather feedback, and align on key priorities to implement high-impact national sales strategies.
  • This role is responsible for creating and updating quarterly sales strategies aimed at driving product sales growth. These strategies incorporate agent segmentation, new client acquisition initiatives, book-of-business strategies, education and training, and the development of supporting resources.
  • To enhance field effectiveness, the Solutions Strategist supports Product Consultants by developing structured meeting agendas for individual agent meetings, creating compelling sales decks that highlight strategic initiatives, sales concepts, and effective messaging, and collaborating on scorecard updates. They also work closely with Marketing to enhance client engagement through client-facing materials, third-party articles, and targeted client mailings.
  • Additionally, this role produces high-impact sales support materials, including videos, one-pagers, and talking points, to empower agents with the tools they need for success. They also design and oversee national training programs for agents and managers, increasing product knowledge and equipping them with effective sales pivots and winning language to drive results.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Long-Term Care Insurance, Individual Disability Insurance. Knowledge of Business Solutions a plus.
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative strategies that support sales professionals.
  • Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategic objectives as well as work independently to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
  • Motivated self-starter who proactively takes initiative, identify opportunities, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • Industry recognized designations such as CLTC or RICP are highly desirable
  • Life and Health license preferred

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$125,000 - $150,000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:Yes

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.

Please note: This role requiresFINRA licensedand/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprinting.
