This role will be responsible for the Woodburn Polymer Plant's Shipping & Receiving process located at the Woodburn site's plant.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

5% Travel

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and vendors.




  • Provide critical support for all aspects of production, including QC, raw material purchasing, FG shipping. Coordinate with Quality Control to ship product samples.
  • Manage all UPS/FedEx shipments into and out of the Woodburn Oregon facility; ensure outgoing shipments are properly packaged, labeled, and are sent cost effectively. Must be aware and follow all labeling and packaging requirements per DOT and company regulation.
  • Filling and shipping all sample requests. Includes ensuring sample is properly labeled, meets published spec, has correct paperwork, and is packaged to arrive safely. This position has the responsibility to ensure that all samples are complete, are well packaged, include typed documentation, are neat and clean, and are received in a timely manner. Any delays in sample shipments must be communicated in a timely manner to the originator of sample request. Or sample coordinator.
  • Assist in the disposal of spec material and aged raw material.
  • Communicate effectively with all supervisors to ensure a successful backup to the different departments that are supported from this position.
  • Help to optimize all process functions for the Woodburn facility to operate more efficiently. This includes organizing and relocating containers of raw material, maintaining First In, First Out process, and assist Site Buyer and Production Coordinator with Raw Material/Finish Good inventory.
  • Must be able to efficiently use ERP system for shipping duties.
  • Backup and provide assistance to all Shipping & Receiving Woodburn facilities (including Admin Building).


Minimum Requirements:



  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience in a Supply Chain function or completion of the GSC Accelerated Development Program (ADP)
  • Must have two (2) years of experience in polymer production environment



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Have at least two (2) years experience in procurement and scheduling
  • Have at least two (2) years experience procuring/buying in a manufacturing environment
