Overview

Otter Products is hiring for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist to join our Digital Marketing team in Fort Collins, CO. This role will work a hybrid schedule.

Aa Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the organic search visibility and ranking of our Otterbox.com website. You will conduct keyword research, analyze website performance, optimize on-page elements, create and execute link building campaigns, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and search engine algorithm changes. You will work closely with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings. As the SEO Specialist you will have the opportunity to partner with and provide guidance for third party SEO agencies.

Responsibilities

    Research and implement search engine optimization (SEO) recommendations.
  • Conduct continued keyword and link building discovery, expansion, and optimization to improve site performance and inform content teams.
  • Develop an SEO roadmap ensuring strategy aligns with business goals.
  • Define and track relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) including but not limited to; keyword performance, site health, click rate, bounce rate, and conversation rate.
  • Identify, document, and resolve SEO issues associated with site performance.
  • Proactively review and partner with peers and stakeholders to optimize content, landing pages, and search copy to ensure all content is relevant.
  • Organize and run campaigns to make the company's name appear at the top of search engine results.
  • Manage and optimize YouTube channel for search.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
  • Stay on top of current trends and Google algorithm releases.
  • Generate and share reports on a weekly/monthly basis to track performance and impact of SEO campaigns.
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business is required, major in Marketing is preferred. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in direct search management required.
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) required.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred.

USD $65,000.00/Yr.


For US Based Roles Only - Base Compensation Range Maximum

USD $85,000.00/Yr.
