Job Description

University of Minnesota Physicians seeks a board-eligible/board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their clinical practice at M Health Fairview Clinics -Oxboro and Wyoming locations, to provide subspecialty care for patients with dermatological conditions.

Practice Details:

  • Dermatology practice with a demonstrated need from an established referral base of M Health Fairview primary care and subspecialty physicians.
  • Provide medical and surgical dermatology care to adult patients. Opportunities for cosmetic dermatology may also be available.
  • TheDermatology teamworks collaboratively with a large network of both primary care and specialty physicians throughout the M Health Fairview organization, including partners at the University of Minnesota, which includes many subspecialists through an extensive outreach programs. These specialties include: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, Family Practice, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Sports Medicine, Urology, Radiology, Neurology, ENT, Podiatry, Hematology/Oncology, and Ophthalmology.
  • We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).

Position Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Nurse Practitioner program or accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current NP certification through ANCC or AANP or PA certification through NCCPA.
  • Current MN APRN license or PA license with prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Nursing or MN Board of Medical Practice.
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years Dermatology experience preferred

The full-time salary is $167,000 for 2 year guarantee period. RVU based after 2 years. Commensurate with practice experience and may also include incentive compensation or additional specialty-specific compensation components. Salary prorated based on FTE.
