FTE: 1 Shift: Day Schedule: _ Position Summary The Radiation Therapist simulates and/or delivers a course of external beam radiation therapy in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncology physician and Medical Radiation Physicist. This is a technical position working under indirect supervision. Work situations are routine and require radiotherapy expertise, attention to detail, and a service oriented individual. Internal contacts are primarily within the work group. External contacts include physicians and patients. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiation Technology program and board eligible, and must be registered to sit for next board exam given and has two consecutive trials to pass before being considered for dismissal Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy and be certified as a Radiation Therapist by the State of Washington CPR certification Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $46.18 - $76.32 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
