About us

One team. Global challenges. Infinite opportunities. At Viasat, we're on a mission to deliver connections with the capacity to change the world. For more than 35 years, Viasat has helped shape how consumers, businesses, governments and militaries around the globe communicate. We're looking for people who think big, act fearlessly, and create an inclusive environment that drives positive impact to join our team.

What you'll do

The Viasat Service Activation and Provisioning (VSAP) platform is designed to create a streamlined and engaging user experience to not only handle activation and provisioning of the service, but also on the installation. Our approach is to create reusability of components that will extend to the different business units that we service. This ranges from aviation and maritime to government services. The VSAP platform will allow for a structured and proven standard way of interacting and providing Viasat's services. Basically, a one stop shop for users to go to get Viasat's service up and running.

The day-to-day

This team is focused on opening communication with different teams that manage the terminals used to provide service. In this position you will be an integral part of the DevOps VSAP terminal integration team and make meaningful impacts to how our systems and installers interact with the terminals that are used in our various services. Your responsibilities will range from developing software that is able to scale across multiple different terminals and terminal types to creating new products, services and tests that will allow us to achieve our goal of reusable components that adhere to our terminal communication standards.
