Key Roles and Responsibilities:



  • Enhancement Intake & Prioritization:


    • Collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams to gather and document enhancement requests.
    • Develop and implement an intake process, then prioritize requests based on objective business case criteria such as hours saved, and dollars saved.
    • Rank initiatives across functions to form a comprehensive backlog.


  • Coordination & Execution:


    • Work closely with the IT department and outsourced SAP support teams to schedule and implement the approved automation and process improvements in our systems.
    • Oversee the injection of prioritized enhancements into Agile sprint cycles.
    • Provide regular progress reports to Finance stakeholders.


  • Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts:


    • Partner with Finance experts to ensure that the enhancements, particularly automation initiatives, are effectively aligned with business needs.
    • Ensure that the execution of enhancements in systems such as SAP S4 HANA (Accounting), BRIM (Revenue & Billing), Ariba (Procurement), and SAP Analytics Cloud (FP&A) meets the intended objectives.


  • Process & Data Governance:


    • Establish and enforce guidelines for finance master data maintenance.
    • Ensure all enhancements are evaluated rigorously for their business impact and aligned with strategic goals.


  • Agile & Stakeholder Engagement:


    • Facilitate Agile events (e.g., PI Planning) for SAP-related projects.
    • Act as a liaison between the Finance teams, IT, and external support to ensure transparency and alignment.


JOB SCOPE: Incumbent works under minimal direction and uses independent judgment to identify issues, trends & problems and recommend action plans and evaluate results on initiatives that may not be clearly defined and are large in scope. Work is varied and complex, requiring the individual to use a broad range of knowledge gained through experience. The position works with internal and external sources to complete objectives, keeping the needs of external and internal customers as a priority when making decisions and taking action.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $140K - $145K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
