Job Title : Concrete Laborer

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00

Shift: 1 st Shift M-Th 6:00am - 3:30pm, F 6:00am - 10:00am. Overtime as needed based on business need.

Summary: As a Concrete Laborer you are a member of a collaborative and skilled team that applies and fabricates concrete components of various theme construction projects. The work is performed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications. This role is hands-on in a theme construction company that fabricates and manufactures custom creative projects for museums, theme parks, water parks, aquariums, zoological exhibits and other unique exhibits!

Job Responsibilities:

Smooth, finish, and shape concrete surfaces.
Set up and operate concrete mixers, while meeting raw material codes and batch requirements.
Spread lightweight cement mix; install anchor bolts and steel plates.
Operate hoists, cranes, and rigging to move materials.
Use hand tools and power tools including shovels, rakes, drills, saws, and tape measures.
Arrange, demold, and reset concrete forms.
Perform various general labor tasks, including cleaning tools and equipment.
Drive a forklift (certification training provided).
Remove hazards in the work area, wear appropriate PPE, and clean up dirt, trash, and debris.

Qualifications / Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: construction knowledge including reading and understanding blueprints, sketches, and material layouts
Preferred: One year in concrete application processes
Combined experience and education will be considered
Familiar with hand tools
Preferred: forklift operation
Strong reading comprehension, common sense, and listening skills - understanding and following instructions
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing; solid team collaboration skills
Critical thinking skills; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a safe manner; preferred: OSHA safety experience/training/awareness
