Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, change bed linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming. Ensure guest room set up complies with standards. Reports any discrepancies in room status to Inspector. Turns in all lost & found items following the standard procedures. Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered. Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Attends department meetings. Notify management of any pertinent information related to shift activities. Be knowledgeable in all hotel emergency procedures. Ensure areas are free of safety hazards and performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner. Work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers and leads. Other housekeeping duties as assigned. WHAT WE LOOK FOR: High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a full service hotel or related field preferred. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, and 10 pounds frequently. Constantly kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting. Ability to stand during entire shift. Must be able to effectively communicate and be able to work with other seamlessly.
