Ketjen is hiring a Field Services/Warehouse Specialist. This Position is located at our Pasadena, Texas facility and is full-time, on-site.

In this position, the Field Service/Warehouse Specialist must be capable of providing continuity of operations with emphasis on shipping, receiving, and on-site materials deliveries. You would support site warehouse operations, including the handing of Ketjen's products' shipments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledgeable in and able to perform practices associated with handling, shipping, receiving and deliveries in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Must become familiar and knowledgeable with DOT requirements covering the selection, packaging, labeling, and marking regulations for hazardous materials.
  • Must become familiar and knowledgeable with DOT shipping documents for efficient and accurate customer product shipments.
  • Must become familiar and knowledgeable with the corporate standards for packaging, blocking, and bracing of Hazardous shipments.
  • Load/unload product shipments and return deliveries of Hazardous materials shipping containers utilizing corporate standards.
  • Accurately satisfy and/or dispatch all orders and requests of Warehouse / MRO materials. Make Deliveries of on-site requests.
  • Process and maintain warehouse inventories, goods receipts, and returned materials.
  • Receive, process, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
  • Process and prepare all product shipments.
  • Familiarity with computers for processing various transactions in our controlling data system, SAP, and other associated computer programs.
  • Understand and use all related safety equipment, while following all plant safety rules in the daily performance of the job.
  • Selection and use of proper tools for a given job.
  • Capable of communicating and working in unison with other employees, outside drivers, and vendors to accomplish job objectives.
  • Manage hazardous waste, which may include proper collection, packaging, labeling, segregation, storage, use of waste manifest and shipping; according to company and regulatory practices and policies.
  • Ability to effectively operate equipment such as Yard tractor, forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
  • Will be required to work some overtime.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED required.
