Position Summary:
Key support to the Finance department in Treasury. Responsibilities include cash and liquidity management, bank operations, reporting, electronic payments, automation and analysis of data.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of data and create and manage treasury reports as required. Download data from various banking portals and reporting systems. Treasury reporting includes preparation and delivery of daily cash and liquidity reports. Maintain and update reports as required.
- Support Dyma Brands' daily cash and liquidity reporting process as well as excess cash investment management and banking portal administration.
- Review banking transactions and analyze daily cash activity. Complete monthly journal entries and perform reconciliation processes.
- Monitor, fund and report on oil trading margin risk, update cash flow forecast files daily, update weekly financial bank covenant projections.
- Address banking queries to include ACH payments, ACH exceptions, wire payments, checks, positive pay, transaction confirmations and JP Morgan Access support. Enter electronic funds transfers (fed wire and ACH) for approval. Create wire templates for AP and Payroll for repetitive payments.
- Issue monthly FX rates to Accounting and prepare month-end cash journal entries for Accounting. Provide Accounting with monthly bank statements for all Ventura Foods bank accounts.
- Support Ventura Foods, LLC and subsidiary foreign exchange spot trading and FX hedging activities.
- Work closely with Treasurer and Sr. Treasury Analyst on Capital Structure analytics, new debt issuances, acquisition financing and deal closing execution activities.
- Participate and manage projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, including 3+ years of work experience in a financial role is required
- Ability to travel up to 10%, domesticallyis required
- Flexibility to work longer hours and meet tight deadlines, as needs may be required
- BA or BS in Accounting, Math, Statistics, Finance, Business, or any other quantitative studiesis preferred
- 3+ years of work experience inTreasuryis desired
- JD Edwards or related ERP system experienceis a plus
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is ideal
- Experience with RPA or other automation solutionsis preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with partners in various job capacities
- Strong interpersonal skills are required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks while taking ownership of responsibilities
- Demonstrate ability to work in a team-oriented environment that may include dynamic shifts in priorities with pending projects
- Demonstrate ability to resolve issues by exercising sound judgment, initiative, and strong critical thinking skills
- Must have the ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines, and work through issues without continuous supervision

- Salary Base Range of $63,982-$97,950.51*
