Position Title: CNC Machinist
Wage: $25-$46/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2pm-10pm M-F QPS Employment Group is hiring a CNC Machinist for a company in Richfield, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity. CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations - Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining conditions - Operate and maintain machines according to work instructions - Program toolpaths with CAM software - Operate and program 5-axis CNC machine tool - Take precise measurements to verify program accuracy - Monitor and develop speed, feed, depth, and/or angle of cut during machining operations - Maintain clean work area and machine daily - Maintain workflow between shifts by documenting and communicating actions CNC Machinist Requirements: - High school degree or equivalent - Apprenticeship or vocational training - Powermill experience - 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist - Previous experience with machining various exotic materials and specialty tooling - CAM software experience - GD&T experience - Working knowledge of safety protocols - Strong attention to detail and is self-motivated - Strong understanding of mathematics - Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor - Exert 1 to 25 pounds of force 75% of the time - Exert 26 to 50 pounds of force 20% of the time - Exert 50 plus pounds of force 5% of the time - Ability to read machine dial gages, blueprints, precision measuring instruments, and computer screens - Read English and understand sketches, routings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals - Communicate effectively with employees QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
