Sr. Director, Finance Analytics - Pharmacy

Your Role

The Sr. Director, Finance - Pharmacy will report to the SVP, Underwriting and Analytics and Chief Actuary . In this role you serve as a strategic finance thought partner to the SVP & Chief Pharmacy Officer, as well as oversee financial and growth aspects of Pharmacy. This role is critical as it is complex in working with state and federal financial reporting and will also help shape our Pharmacy Program within our Stellarus and Ascendium companies.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a college degree or equivalent experience
• Requires 12 years of progressive financial managerial experience preferably gained within a complex multi-billion-dollar organization (previous PBM experience is a plus)
• Requires 8 years of management experience
• Requires at least 7 years of experience working business process improvement, analyzing data, and implementing projects supporting financial operations
• Requires a deep understanding of healthcare trends, pharmacy products/vendors and financials for both analysis and planning
• Requires a demonstrated proven expertise and experience in managing planning financials, budgeting and forecasting for pharmacy services and products.
• Requires experience leading and managing both process improvement and application system projects to meet project deadlines and expected outcomes
• Requires experience diving deep into technical data
• Proven ability to work with multiple business partners and stakeholders, often wanting different outcomes or timelines
• Requires detailed understanding of core finance processes and how they interconnect within a CFO organization and the business
• Requires demonstrated proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting and scenario modeling
• Requires a passion for data and metric based reporting and decision-making to drive organizational performance
• Requires strong and effective communication and influencing skills and the knowledge and ability to translate that to different stakeholder audiences throughout a healthcare system
