Responsibilities As a Traveling Construction Manager you are responsible for overseeing all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. You will lead a team of construction professionals to produce high-quality work, in a safety-minded environment. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge. Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic, experienced, and dynamic CX Manager of Fiber Optic Installation to oversee our fiber optic installation projects and lead a dedicated team of Traveling Fiber Optic Installation Supervisors, Underground Fiber Optic Placing Foremen, and Fiber Optic Placing Laborers. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in the telecommunications industry, exceptional leadership abilities, and a passion for ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in fiber optic installations. This role requires a commitment to team development and project success while navigating the challenges of a fast-paced and mobile work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for multiple fiber optic installation projects across various locations, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Team Development: Mentor and support Traveling Fiber Optic Installation Supervisors and their respective teams, promoting professional growth, best practices, and a positive work culture. Project Management: Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and execution to meet installation timelines and quality standards. Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Safety Oversight: Champion a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing safety policies, conducting thorough risk assessments, and organizing regular safety training sessions for all staff. Performance Monitoring: Evaluate project performance through regular site audits, quality control inspections, and team feedback, making recommendations for improvements and corrective actions as needed. Coordination and Communication: Facilitate effective communication between field teams, upper management, and clients to ensure transparency and swift resolution of any challenges that arise. Budget Management: Assist in preparing project budgets, monitoring expenditures, and managing financial resources effectively, seeking opportunities to improve cost efficiencies. Documentation and Reporting: Ensure that all project documentation, including progress reports, incidents, and compliance records, are maintained accurately and submitted to management in a timely manner. Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fiber optic installation. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions. Qualifications: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in fiber optic installation or telecommunications, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership capacity. Strong knowledge of fiber optic installation methods, equipment, and safety standards, including experience with Condux Gulfstream 400 and underground digging machinery. Proven track record of successfully managing project teams, demonstrating excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills. Superior communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building relationships with diverse groups and stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively is a requirement. OSHA 30 certification preferred. - Knowledge of railroad rules and regulations are a plus. Qualifications About You:
