At the American Red Cross, your uniqueness can shine! The American Red Cross is currently seeking a Business Applications Liaison II to support the Business Systems Analysis and Planning team. This position is a work-from-home opportunity and can be located anywhere in the United States. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: A Business Applications Liaison II will serve as a liaison between the business unit, Information Technology (IT) and/or vendor(s) to ensure that technology designs meet the needs of end users within the assigned business unit. They will develop requirements and specifications for systems used by the business. Maintain data integrity, troubleshoot issues and document procedures. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD: 1. Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for simplification or automation. Leverage available tools to optimize productivity within the business unit. 2. Manage business related projects and serve as a liaison between the business unit, IT and vendors. 3. Participate in efforts related to analysis, development, testing and implementations of system enhancements or tools 4. Create and manage project documentation. 5. Provide user support relating to the utilization of the business application in day-to-day operations. Facilitate user training as required. 6. Import and export data to ensure high data integrity is maintained and reported. Analyze and validate data. Design and prepare customized reports, document report specifications and ensure standard reporting procedures are aligned with business reporting requirements. 7. Execute business application-related processes and transactions. 8. Assist in the development of performance metrics and project reports. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Experience: Minimum 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Skills and Abilities: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to apply technical expertise to resolve problems. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks efficiently. Ability to work on a team. Ability to be 24-hour on-call during periods of major disasters. Travel: Travel may be required. Drivers License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE: Strong relationship management skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. Advanced Technical skills to include Excell, TEAMS and Power BI. COMPENSATION INFORMATION: The salary range for this position is $60,000 -$68,000. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
