Job Summary:

The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Talent Acquisition Program. This role manages processes for leading recruitment strategies, career development, mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing and oversight of all agencies and locum personnel. The Director partners with all internal and external stakeholders of the organization to design and implement creative and innovative approaches to talent acquisition and career development that will attract world class talent to further enhance MWHC as a Great Place to Work. The Director will also lead workforce planning and managing relationships with vendors, community agencies, colleges and high schools to identify best practices and establish quantifiable metrics for team performance.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages MWHC's strategy related to Talent Acquisition, including workforce planning, career development, sourcing strategy, candidate screening, and hiring process.
  • Builds consultative and strategic partnerships at most senior levels of management.
  • Establishes operational and strategic objectives, and delegates assignments to direct managers.
  • Process owner for Talent Acquisition and provides leadership direction to the Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Functions as a strategic partner in workforce planning and major workforce initiatives.
  • Builds and leads a superior team by selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the talent acquisition function/process.
  • Maintains a recruitment dashboard of all monthly and yearly outcomes on hiring, vacancy, time to fill.
  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
  • Manages contractual relationships with placement agencies, contract recruiters, and third party-providers.
  • Promotes educational programs to advance the career and workforce development needs of MWHC and its Associates.
  • Develops mutually beneficial relationships with educational institutions, community, and national resources to provide programs and placement opportunities for high demand clinical and non-clinical fields of study.
  • Manages and directs aspects of the physician recruitment and onboarding program.
  • Ensures adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations governing all talent acquisition processes.
  • Ensures consistent corporate image and branding throughout talent acquisition campaigns and processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field
  • A minimum of 10 years recruiting/talent acquisition experience with at least 5-7 years in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated management of complex projects and supervision of staff including ability to effectively coach, develop and lead others
  • Experience managing recruitment and advertising budgets
  • Social media and digital recruitment experience
  • Strong intellect with analytical bias, creative and conceptual, but able to deliver operationally
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and corporate recruitment practices
  • Open communicator and inclusive interpersonal skills
  • Must be organized and with excellent administrative and follow-up skills
  • Experience with evaluating, selecting and customizing applicant tracking system, savvy on the use of social networking sites and other innovative sourcing tools

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in human resources or business administration

  • Professional certification (PHR/SPHR, etc.)
