Facilities Engineer - Oil and Gas

Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to join their Oil & Gas team in Denver, CO, with regular travel (25%-50%) to CO, UT, ND, TX, NM to support existing facilities. This role involves developing scopes of work, estimating project costs, and collaborating with Operations while ensuring compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Management of Change (MOC) requirements. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of industry experience, strong field expertise in piping, valves, fittings, and gas processing equipment, and proficiency in ASME B31.3 standards. Responsibilities include creating P&ID redlines, developing data sheets, and designing properly engineered pipe sketches.

Performance Expectations:



  • Writing scopes of work
  • Estimating project costs
  • Experience including working with Operations.
  • PSM or MOC experience.
  • Process, Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineering experience in Oil and Gas Facilities
  • This is not a remote worker position. Employee will be expected to work in the City of Denver, CO. Work week is five 8-hour days. Weeks with travel may require more work time.


Professional Requirements:



  • Field Experience
  • Engineering degree preferred but not required.
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Proficiency with piping, valves, fittings, and piping arrangements in the field.
  • Familiar with the gas process/gas equipment
  • Competency with creating P&ID redlines in the field.
  • Develop data sheets, sketch properly engineered pipe sketches for new designs.
  • Direct experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Management of Change (MOC) requirements and regulations.
  • Oil & Gas industry experience.
  • Must be familiar with ASME B31.3
