Machine Operator/Sandblast Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Following all SOP's and the best practices for the department
2. Working in the Sandblast room
3. Sandblasting shields and fixturing parts from vacuum coating machine
4. Disassemble components from inside coating machines
5. Reassemble components after sandblasting
6. Cleaning and sandblasting metal rings for the coating machines
7. Maintains workstation clean and organized per cleaning procedures

1. Be able to multi-task, as required by workflow or Lab Manager
2. Light record keeping on machine maintenance
3. Maintain cleanliness of the work area
4. Perform duties as requested by department Manager and Supervisors
5. Maintain the machine cleanliness inside and out
6. Be aware and careful to not damage the high value coating machine parts
7. Complete other duties as assigned by leadership
