Job Description The Machine shop Supervisor is responsible for directing a small team of associates in the areas of metal fabrication and CNC production. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years' hands on experience within machine shop environment as well as supervisory experience. The position will require competencies that include interpersonal skills, collaborative and strategic leadership with an understanding towards all production support operations. A sound understanding of manufacturing principles, particularly Lean manufacturing.Job Responsibilities & Requirements The Company: The company is a $2.5 billion manufacturer of building products and industrial equipment headquartered in the Midwest. This plant of roughly 185,000 sq. ft. is in a suburb of St. Louis and produces automated manufacturing equipment for the prefabrication of wall panels, floor & roof truss assembly.
