Description

TRISTAR is seeking a Logistician II for our government customer in Crane, IN

  • The Logistician II will be responsible for coordinating and managing depot parts and supplies

Position Responsibilities:

  • Track depot parts and material inventory to ensure appropriate inventory levels
  • Coordinate parts orders for depot technicians and engineers through AQMs/buyers
  • Develop part lists for orders, research vendors, and obtain quotes for submission to AQMs/buyers
  • Track depot repair metrics and generate detailed metrics reports
  • Update Integrated Master Schedules using MS Project and Excel
  • Revise and maintain work instructions and procedures as needed
  • Assist in creating project cost estimates
  • Work with Government Production Controllers to prepare shop orders in SWMS
Requirements
  • Require a highly organized and detail-oriented professional that will be tracking parts inventories for the depot and assisting with project planning and management
  • Have strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Project and Excel, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Need to be able to quickly learn new project management systems such as SWMS, ERP, and iPDM
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one

Education and Certification:

  • HS Diploma
  • AA Degree is a plus
