TRISTAR is seeking a Quality Control Specialist II for our government customer in Bloomington, IN
- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to ensure adherence to processes, maintain proper documentation, and oversee configuration management
- This role is responsible for managing all local documents, tracking compliance with processes, monitoring timelines for deliverables, and ensuring proper version control to prevent unauthorized changes
- The ideal candidate will develop and refine processes to meet project needs while ensuring deliverables comply with established requirements
Position Responsibilities:
- Quality Control:
- Ensure all processes are documented, followed, and continuously improved.
- Monitor compliance with quality standards and best practices
- Identify and resolve process gaps or inefficiencies.
- Configuration Management:
- Maintain version control of all documents, ensuring proper tracking and access control.
- Prevent unauthorized changes and ensure all updates follow formal approval processes.
- Establish and maintain a structured document management system.
- Process Management & Compliance:
- Develop, document, and implement processes to meet project needs.
- Conduct audits and assessments to verify adherence to established processes.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on compliance and documentation requirements.
- Deliverables & Timeline Management:
- Track and enforce deadlines for deliverables.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality and project requirements before submission.
- Coordinate with teams to resolve delays and ensure timely project execution.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in quality control, configuration management, or process documentation
- Strong understanding of quality standards and configuration management principles
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in document control software and version control tools
- Ability to enforce process compliance and drive continuous improvements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with auditing and process verification
- Must be a US Citizen
- An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
