As an FP&A Intern, you will have the opportunity to put your collegiate experiences and knowledge into action by working with the FP&A team. You will be introduced to tools and resources that will help you grow both professionally and personally. As the leading U.S. terminal operator and stevedore with operations in over 33 ports, Ports America has extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of marine cargo terminals and in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. Ports America's terminal operations and stevedoring services include container, bulk, breakbulk and project cargo; world-class cruise terminals; intermodal facilities and quality RoRo operations.

Essential Duties:



  • Assist in the consolidation and analysis of financial results of various business units (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
  • Provide support for the periodic forecast processes
  • Help in creating PowerPoint and other presentations for Board and other management purposes
  • Construct Excel spreadsheets in support of financial results and forecasts in a multitude of ways
  • Assist in Analyzing operating results; Support the design, development and utilization of financial modeling methodologies


Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Certifications):



  • Junior in College Majoring in Finance / Accounting or related field of study


Preferred Requirements:



  • 2.5 GPA or higher
  • Understanding of Financial Statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
  • Experience in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills required
  • Highly motivated with a desire to learn
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills



      Internship Details



      • The start date will be Monday, June 2nd, 2025
      • The internship will last approximately 8-10 weeks, ending on Friday, August 15th, 2025
      • This is a full-time internship (up to 30 hours a week, Mon- Friday)
      • The format is expected to be in-person at Port or office location


      Selection Process

      Compensation & Benefits



      • The hourly rate range is $25.00
      • Continuing to develop your skills and experience at a growing organization
