Job Description

The Pricing and Deal team supports the Value-Added Services (VAS) division of Visa.

The team is responsible for providing pricing and deal support to increase VAS sales. It works with Visa's regional and global Product and Sales teams to improve the VAS sales process, supporting teams with intelligence, innovation, process transformation and other sales tools to grow the business.

The team sits at the intersection of many geographies, product organizations, and business units, requiring organizational savvy and strong interpersonal skills. This is a unique opportunity to drive the organizational excellence of Visa's business while collaborating with executives on a regular basis.

This role will play a key role in accelerating and scaling the business growth by building scalable processes and increasing both team efficiency and operational excellence. This is a leadership position and be responsible for leading the project planning, strategy, and implementation of various operational process improvements, business transformation projects, and related field enablement to drive broad scale within our global sales teams.

Our target candidate should ideally be a highly effective communicator with the strong ability to influence leadership through analytical reasoning, creativity, and sound judgment. You should be comfortable challenging the status-quo in a sensitive, efficient, and constructive manner.

This role reports to the Senior Director, VAS Pricing and Deal team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Serve as a thought partner to the Senior Director, Pricing and Deals, providing innovative ideas and plans to grow sales, product penetration and to optimize margin.

  • Strong collaboration and partnership with Sales, Sales Operations, Pricing Strategy, Deal Management, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Legal leadership to:

  • Develop standardized pricing and deal strategies, procedures, and supporting tools/technologies.

  • Develop internal financial business cases and make recommendations to senior leadership to scale pricing and deal strategies.

  • Update processes and support tools across quoting, billing, contracting, revenue allocation, and reporting to ensure success of Pricing and Deal initiatives.

  • Synthesize various inputs and confidently communicate updates and recommendation to executive leaders with clean, concise, data-supported story.

  • Coordinate with functional partners to design and manage key reports that meet the goals of the leadership team. Proactively review a subset of reports/updates to flag areas that require executive attention.

  • Provide continuous coaching and training to teammates

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

Strong command of financial, market and consumer data with the ability to grasp and distill complex issues.

Commercially astute with experience working in a fast-paced and evolving global matrix organization.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 145,400.00 to 234,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
