RPO Workstream Strategy Lead Sr
Summary:
The Workstream Strategy Lead Sr will be part of the bank's Remediation Program Office ("RPO") and report directly to the Director, RPO, who reports into the Chief Administrative Officer of Comerica. The bank's RPO team is responsible for the regulatory engagement execution, key regulatory submissions and responses, and regulatory policy across all of the bank's regulators.
The Workstream Strategy Lead Sr is responsible for the most complex or high priority work streams within the RPO. An advanced/expert level of experience to ensure consistency across the bank's MR(I)A responses and successful execution of associated remediation plans on the most complex/critical areas of focus. Key responsibilities will include identifying and escalating key issues, consulting with Workstream Leads and MR(I)A owners in their remediation plan development and conducting effective review and challenge. This role may also be responsible for engaging with the regulators, as needed.
Position Responsibilities:
Execution of Remediation Plans


  • Work closely with the most critical or high priority workstreams to identify and escalate issues, and identify key decisions related to remediation design, resourcing, etc.
  • Collaborate with workstream leads on plan development.


Effective Review and Challenge


  • Review and challenge MRA artifacts & closure packages.
  • Provide detailed feedback for enhancement of plans.
  • Coordinate and provide effective review & challenge of issue identification, MR(I)As and other workstream artifacts, and closure packages.
  • Provide support in reporting / narrative writing, as needed (e.g., regulatory response for MR(I)As).

Position Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 8 years of experience in regulatory expectations, regulatory supervision or regulatory relations, or in a role requiring risk management
  • 4 years of experience in managing complex cross-company efforts -- specific experience with managing major regulatory or legal submissions preferred

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This position offers a hybrid work model that includes onsite and remote days as determined by the manager. Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
