RAPP New York is looking for an Account Director to join our award-winning Account Leadership team.

YOUR ROLE:

The ideal candidate has a proven track record exemplifying core competencies expected of an Account Director and possesses the confidence to lead in a digital-first, data-centric manner. This role requires being on-site at the Audi and Volkswagen client headquarters. Serving as a trusted advisor and collaborative partner, they engage with Audi and Volkswagen clients at middle and senior managerial and marketing/category directorial levels. Their adeptness lies in being able to confidently represent RAPP capabilities and delivery while seamlessly working alongside the client team managing multi-disciplinary projects across various sectors, navigating seamlessly through agency matrices, cross-holding company partnerships, and external agency collaborations. Driven by a natural curiosity and a relentless pursuit of excellence, they consistently deliver outstanding results.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Gaining a deep understanding of Audi and Volkswagen business dynamics, strategies, and industry drivers across various channels.
  • Being on-site with the client, representing RAPP and serving as an extension of the client teams
  • Managing client expectations, objectives, timelines, and budgets effectively
  • Serving as a liaison between multiple client and agency internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration throughout the business, while monitoring, projecting, and offering innovative solutions to marketing challenges.
  • Exhibiting accountability for agency performance and effectively managing financial and commercial aspects of the business.
  • Managing complex, multi-channel campaigns across different stages of the funnel and customer journey.
  • Facilitating the development of project briefs in collaboration with strategic planners and analysts.
  • Providing guidance to team members in evaluating ideas and directions.
  • Shepherding ideas from development to presentation to execution, both for oneself and others.
  • Working within an integrated agency model to ensure alignment and collaborative work towards shared goals among agency teams.
  • Steering internal and partner teams to deliver integrated solutions from strategy and concept to execution, while representing client interests adequately.


REQUIRED SKILLS:



  • 8-10 years of experience, particularly with a focus on digital and CRM.
  • Strong mid to senior-level client experience is essential, along with the ability to navigate complex client organizations effectively.
  • Experience working closely with Media agency partners and clients to develop integrated media and CRM strategies and recommendations
  • Strong data and technical acumen - particularly leveraging SalesForce Marketing Cloud platform
  • Strong mid to senior-level client experience is essential, along with the ability to navigate complex client organizations effectively.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, both in client interactions and internal processes, is crucial. Demonstrating flexibility and creative problem-solving abilities is a must.
  • Must exhibit strong teamwork skills, maintaining a friendly and cooperative demeanor.
  • Should demonstrate adeptness in managing various personalities, both within the team and when interacting with clients.
  • Experience in communications planning is essential, with a capability to articulate strategic recommendations effectively, including successful client engagements.
  • Proven ability to autonomously manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Effective and proactive collaboration within a geographically dispersed team environment is a must.
  • Automotive experience with exposure to Tier 1 program activation and support as well as Financial Services experience. Additional experience in T2 and T3 program activation is ideal.

This range is specific to NYC and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
