WAREHOUSE FORKLIFT OPERATOR- 2nd SHIFT Job Summary Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry? We are hiring dynamic Warehouse Forklift Operators, who not only excels in driving a forklift, but is also passionate about ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of medical equipment. If you're a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a knack for organization, we want you to be a part of our growing team! 2nd shift positions are available, with working hours of 1pm - 9pm, Monday - Friday. The starting pay rate for Warehouse Forklift Operators is $22.00 per hour. Essential responsibilities of the Warehouse Forklift Operator are:
Qualifications:
During the 5 tier training period, the Warehouse Forklift Operator will learn the following: 1. Forklift Operation and Safety: - Comprehensive training on the safe and efficient operation of a forklift, including understanding the controls, maneuvering in various warehouse spaces, and adherence to safety protocols. - Familiarization with safety guidelines specific to handling medical equipment to ensure the well-being of oneself and others. 2. Order Picking and Packing Procedures: - Training on the company's specific order picking and packing procedures, emphasizing accuracy and efficiency. - Understanding how to read and interpret order sheets or electronic systems for selecting the correct medical equipment items for shipment. 3. Inventory Management: - Instruction on effective inventory management practices, including conducting regular counts, tracking stock levels, and utilizing the company's inventory management system. - Learning how to identify and report discrepancies in inventory and collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues. 4. Warehouse Organization and Layout: - Orientation to the warehouse layout and organization, including the location of medical equipment, storage areas, and designated spaces for shipping and receiving. - Training on maintaining a well-organized warehouse space to optimize workflow and facilitate easy retrieval of equipment. 5. Quality Assurance and Compliance: - Education on quality standards for handling and packaging medical equipment to ensure that products meet regulatory and company-specific quality requirements. - Understanding compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to the storage, handling, and shipment of medical equipment. Additionally, the training process may cover general workplace policies, emergency procedures, and any specific protocols related to the medical equipment being handled. Continuous learning and updates may also be provided to keep the Warehouse Associate informed about any changes in procedures, equipment, or safety regulations. What can you expect from TIDI?
