Position Title: OE Program Manager

Location: Dearborn, MI.

The OE Program Manager acts in a leadership capacity to ensure that all aspects of the program management launch process meet internal and external customer requirements.
Qualifications:


  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (BS) in math, science, or engineering and 5 years of related experience.
  • Knowledgeable in managing automotive powertrain programs, including engineering, project budgeting and finance, commercial agreements, purchasing, supply, and IT project development.
  • Knowledge and experience with OEM engineering and product development for OE programs.
  • Able to lead a cross-functional team to project timelines and meet customer and internal deliverables.
  • Ability to prepare program presentations and present information clearly to customers.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint required.
  • Coordination and planning skills (Project Management).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required.


Essential Functions:

  • Lead a cross functional team to bring product design to production.
  • Report program status to the executive team, including timing, quality, cost and deliverable status.
  • Develop effective deliverables to monitor team's launch status and performance.
  • Provide project leadership and drive all aspects of program launch.
  • Serve as key customer contact for engineering, supply, and quality teams.
  • Ensure customer deliverables and program timing are met.
  • Establish and maintain an open issues list and timeline.
  • Establish and maintain program files and retain in an orderly manner.
  • Minimize project risk and inform management appropriately.
  • Facilitates lessons-learned session at the conclusion of the launch as part of continuous improvement.
