Accounting Manager

Are you a CPA with a passion for leadership? Hunter Hamilton is working with a client near the Willowbrook area seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing team! This role offers a hybrid schedule, direct hire employment, and the opportunity to mentor and lead a team of two-previous leadership experience is not required, just a desire to guide and develop others.

  Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial processes

  Manage the month-end close and financial reporting packages

  
  
• 
  

  Review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations

  
  
• 
  

  Improve efficiency in accounting processes and procedures

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain inventory, leases, pre paid in compliance with GAAP

  
  
• 
  

  Oversee daily banking, cash flow, and accounts payable review

  
  
• 
  

  Coordinate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support

  
  
• 
  

  Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis reports as needed

  
  

• 
  

  CPA (Required)

  
  
• 
  

  1+ years of experience in a mid to large-size public accounting firm

  
  
• 
  

  5+ years of corporate accounting experience (manufacturing or multi-unit retail preferred)

  
  
• 
  

  Experience building financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement)

  
  
• 
  

  International accounting experience is a plus

  
  

• 
  

  Competitive Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 + up to 10% annual bonus
