Position Description:
As an Administrative Assistant Sr in the Department of Psychiatry and Behioral Medicine you will perform routine and advanced administrative duties requiring considerable skill and in-depth knowledge of organizational policies and procedures under general direction.
Primary Functions
- Front desk support to include: greeting patients, check-in, check-out, and scheduling appointments following detailed protocols, ensuring accuracy.
- Triage patient and provider phone calls. Resolve routine inquiries and take appropriate messages, while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.
- Anticipate patient needs and resolve problems to ensure a positive patient experience. Employ sound judgment to ensure the best possible public relations.
- Generate reports and letters.
- Qgenda schedule support.
- Provide administrative and onboarding support to embedded providers.
- Additional duties may include intake support including insurance verification.
- Utilization of spreadsheets and electronic filing systems.
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management.
Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Position Requirements:
Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis
Minimum Required Education: High school diploma
Minimum Required Experience: 5 years of experience
Preferred Experience: Epic proficiency, healthcare, Microsoft 365
