As a Data Engineer with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:

Design and develop pipelines, data flows, and integrations with a wide variety of data in our corporate data lake environment.
• Assist with file feeds and automating routine tasks to improve employee productivity.
• Constantly look to learn new skills and embrace challenges to enhance employee productivity and drive value for our customers.
• Review business requirements and reporting needs.
• Engage in hands on development deliver solutions for the enterprise.
• Stay informed about the latest technologies in data engineering, exploring opportunities for innovation.Build and maintain cloud native solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Integrate new tools and methodologies to enhance internal capabilities and deliver greater value to our customers

• Bachelors Degree OR High School Diploma and 6+ years of additional experience.
• Ability to obtain a clearance (US Citizenship)
• Generative Artificial Intelligence and/or Machine Learning.
• Jupyter Notebooks.Data analytics and reporting.
• Experience with modern data lake architectures and cloud native platforms (Azure Synapse Analytics/Fabric)

At least 3 years experience in:

• ETL/ELT processes, pipelines, data flows, and automating tasks.
• report design and development (SQL Reporting Services, Power BI)
• .Strong relational database skills (MSSQL).
• Python for data movement and analytics tasks

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $78,100.00/Yr. - USD $164,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
