Essential Functions/Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the following tasks, duties and responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute manufacturing strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.

2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing department and resource allocation.

3. Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability targets are consistently met or exceeded through the metrics of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity and Cost.

4. Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that manufactured products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.

5. Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the manufacturing process.

6. Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimize production workflows, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.

7. Manage and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.

8. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, planning and finance, to align manufacturing activities with sales forecasts, demand planning, and budgetary constraints.

9. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, industry standards, and quality management systems, such as ISO certifications.

10. Maintains ethics and integrity congruent to the Company's mission and values.

11. Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing, and actively seek opportunities to leverage new technologies or methodologies to improve manufacturing processes.

Education, Experience and Skills Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience of at least 8-10 years of manufacturing experience plus an in-depth knowledge of MRP/ERP systems. Proficient in using manufacturing software systems and tools, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and data analytics platforms.

1. Strong leadership and management abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

2. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.

3. Proven experience in developing and implementing manufacturing strategies that drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives.

4. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing principles, processes, and technologies, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

5. Strong understanding of quality management systems and best practices, such as ISO 9001.

6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.

7. Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices within the manufacturing industry.

9. Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

10. Strong track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations, preferably within a complex and highly regulated industry.

11. Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

12. Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and quality management systems, such as ISO certifications.

13. Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and best practices.

14. Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a high-performing manufacturing team.

15. Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems.

16. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

17. Professional certifications, such as Certified Manufacturing Professional (CMP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), are a plus.

Work Environment: The position has good working conditions in a manufacturing plant environment and is a diversified job requiring sustained mental effort related to internal/external contacts, organizational issues, planning and technical areas. The individual may encounter significant emotional strain or tension. There is sustained exposure to standing, sitting and the plant environment. There is also moderate exposure to Video Data Terminals (VDTs).

Compensation Salary Range: Paygrade OTC17 $162,876 - $244,348 *The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
