Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler and Analyst with 8 + years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake Tableau Managed Market Sales and Marketing Statistics KPI-Assessment & Rationalization EDA Dataiku Machine Learning ROI Calculation Alteryx R Statistical Package MS Excel Python SQL Scripting and MS Powerpoint. Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns that can inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau to visualize data insights.
  • Utilize Snowflake for efficient data warehousing and management.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights and inform strategy.
  • Apply machine learning techniques to develop predictive models and improve business outcomes.
  • Perform ROI calculations to assess the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Use Alteryx for data blending and advanced analytics.
  • Implement statistical analysis using R Statistical Package to support data-driven decisions.
  • Create and manage SQL scripts for data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Develop and deliver presentations using MS Powerpoint to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize strategies based on data insights.
  • Conduct KPI assessment and rationalization to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Utilize Dataiku for collaborative data science and machine learning projects.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support managed market strategies.
  • Use MS Excel for data manipulation analysis and visualization.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analyses and reports.
  • Support property and casualty insurance domain projects with relevant data insights.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in data analysis.
  • Work collaboratively in a hybrid work model to achieve team goals.
  • Communicate effectively in English both written and spoken.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience with Snowflake Tableau and Dataiku.
  • Should be proficient in Python SQL scripting and MS Excel.
  • Must have experience with machine learning and statistical analysis using R.
  • Should have a solid understanding of sales and marketing data analysis.
  • Must be skilled in KPI assessment and rationalization.
  • Should have experience in the property and casualty insurance domain.
  • Must be able to create and deliver presentations using MS Powerpoint.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 03/18/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $90000 - $123000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
