Description

Job Summary

Receive direction from General Foreman or Superintendent on daily tasks for crew. Good skill and knowledge of duties in the craft environment being supervised.

Essential Functions



  • Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics".
  • Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values".
  • To work well with all adjacent crafts, supervision and client.
  • Maintain Safety accountability.
  • Assure that a high quality of work is being maintained.
  • Pour concrete, finish and build and place straight concrete forms, irregular concrete forms, forms for underground electrical i.e.: duct banks, concrete forms for stairways and floors, walls and columns, Layout Batter boards, partitions, doors and windows, box-cut in concrete walls


Acoustics and Drywall, Floor and ceiling runners, studs, stiffeners, bracing, fire blocking, Resilient and furring channels, Layout, framing, enclosing and trimming of door frames, window frames, vents, light wells, and other openings, wall angles and moldings, Stud less and laminated installations, Thermal and sound insulation, Installation of backing and finish materials, Fireproofing of columns, beam and chases.



  • Assist in excavation activities and installation of underground shoring systems where required
  • Assist in installation and demo of underground utilities
  • Knowledge and understanding Asbestos abatement and other hazardous material handling and disposal
  • Proficient in the miscellaneous Safety, scaffolding, walkways, shoring, sheds, protection, cutting, burning and welding.
  • Perform daily toolbox safety meeting and maintain minutes.
  • Manage permits and lock out tag out procedures.
  • Know how to access Safety, Health and Environmental information.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and with a computer as needed.
  • Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as requested by supervision.


Qualifications



  • Good understanding of the craft environment being supervised and knowledge of basic hand tools.
  • MUST have or be in the process of getting a TWIC card.
  • MUST have or be in the process of getting a 20-hour high hazard facility training card
  • MUST have Verification of 8,000 craft related hours OR Graduated journeyperson status preferred.
  • Must have a good understanding of Company policies and procedures.
  • Completed the Company's Safety training, Process Safety Management training, S.T.A.R.T. Class and Client / Site specific training.
  • To obtain and maintain an active status within the required drug testing program.

The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is shown below. The pay rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience, specific skill set, geographic location, internal equity, and other factors influencing pay. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of this range, and in certain circumstances, may fall outside the listed hiring range.

Hiring range: $35.00 to $39.71 per hour

Full range for this position, available over time: $35.00 to $43.78 per hour
