Position Description

We're looking for a hands-on problem solver to join our team as a Die Cast Tooling Technician. If you enjoy working with precision tools, tackling challenges head-on, and making things run smoothly, this is the job for you!

Job Responsibilities
  1. Clean, maintain, and repair die cast tooling to keep production running smoothly.

  2. Remove, reinstall, and fine-tune tooling components with care and precision.

  3. Grind, sand, polish, and sandblast components to perfection.

  4. Cut and thread hard pipe with skill and accuracy.

  5. Fabricate hydraulic hoses and air lines as needed.

  6. Use precision measuring equipment (experience is a plus, but we can teach you!).

  7. Operate forklifts and cranes safely and efficiently.

  8. Welding skills? Great! If not, we'll still consider you.

Job Skills Requirements
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail.

  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Prior experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.

  • Competent computer skills, particularly with Windows-based software.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to ensure clear communication.

Education

High School diploma

General Education Degree

Experience Requirements

- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience with TIG Welding on H13 Tool Steel. (Preferred but again, not required)
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.
- EDM or CNC experience (Preferred but again, not required)

Physical & Environmental Requirements

May be required to lift or carry products, parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights. (Frequently 5 - 25 pounds), (Occasionally 25 - 75 pounds), (Rarely greater than 75 pounds)

Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Ability to use power/vibrating tools over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
