THE JOB:

The Exhibitor Services Coordinator will assist with the day-to-day operations of the department, providing support to multiple MGM properties. This role will involve overseeing daily tradeshow audits using the Exhibitor Services Software system to ensure event success. The Coordinator will also use the system to process all internet-related orders and manage billing. All tasks will be carried out in alignment with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING PAY RATE: $20.00 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Answer incoming phone calls to assist exhibitors, vendors, GSC, and other stakeholders
  • Respond promptly to exhibitor inquiries via phone, email, or fax
  • Review and distribute exhibitor orders, floor plans, and production schedules
  • Conduct audits of F&B and Internet orders for accuracy and compliance
  • Process daily checks, wire transfers, and perform accounts receivable and accounts payable audits
  • Enter exhibitor orders into the system accurately and within the required timeframe
  • Provide internet sales and customer service support for the Convention Network departments
  • Communicate with customers regarding internet-related services through phone, email, and in person
  • Complete invoicing and billing procedures promptly and efficiently
  • Assist with customer troubleshooting calls and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure that network services meet customer expectations and deadlines
  • Update workflow documentation to ensure all ordered services are installed as scheduled
  • Perform daily audits of the Exhibitor Services Software workflow and orders

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
  • One (1) year of previous guest services experience in a similar resort setting
  • Understanding of Conventions, Trade Shows and Events preferred
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
