Costa Bartender - MGM Springfield

We are seeking a skilled and welcoming Bartender to join our upscale Costa restaurant. You will be responsible for crafting and serving a wide range of beverages, maintaining bar appearance, and providing exceptional guest experiences. Your knowledge of the menu, liquor, beer, and non-alcoholic options, along with your friendly demeanor, will be key to creating memorable moments for our guests, fostering a welcoming atmosphere where you can connect with and personalize each guest's experience.

STARTING PAY: $8.75 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed
• Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order; including, cleanliness, sanitation and appearance of the bar
• Knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available
• Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork
• Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service and bartending
• Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
