We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting the company's overall financial strategy. You'll be instrumental in reviewing, recording, and analyzing financial transactions, while upholding our internal controls and accounting policies What You'll Do:
- Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of general ledger account reconciliations, including but not limited to deferred revenue, leases, and accruals.
- Generate and analyze cash flow forecast reports to guide business decision-making.
- Utilize accounting software and other systems to perform detailed financial analysis and problem-solving, ensuring data integrity.
- Produce accurate accounting reports and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making.
- Develop, document, and continuously improve business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls and compliance.
- Stay current with accounting standards and regulations to address complex financial scenarios and provide expert guidance.
- Assist with the annual financial statement audit, including communication with external auditors and preparation of requested documentation.
- Perform additional accounting tasks and analyses as assigned by accounting management, supporting ongoing business needs.
- Work closely with other departments to gather financial data and contribute to informed, strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a solid track record of handling complex financial tasks.
- Bachelor's in accounting or similar field required; CPA certification preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and hands-on experience with accounting software packages (experience with NetSuite is a plus).
- Proficient in MS Excel, including advanced functions such as V-LOOKUP, SUMIF, and pivot tables.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational skills and the ability to think critically when analyzing financial data.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
