Individual acts as a liaison between the ACU Commanding Officer (CO) and the Program Office. Assists in representing Program Office interests with consideration of Fleet concerns and needs. Provides oversight of all availability efforts, including LCAC and SSC requirements. Must be well experienced in LCAC. Develops and implements innovative solutions to address requirements in a budget constrained environment. Job responsibilities include: * Serve as the NAVSEA PMS377 point-of-contact for all LCAC matters, providing On-Site Representative (OSR) Landing Craft technical support at ACU-4 and assist the Program Office, fleet, shipbuilding contractors, and other field activities in support of on-going LCAC SLEP, FMP, PSE, AIT availabilities and program efforts * Serve as the PMS377 representative for developing information to complement testing, trials, studies, reports, analyses, and plans * Provide support for Landing Craft PSA planning, coordination of trial card issues, and the tracking and resolution of all trial items resulting from Acceptance Trials (AT) and Final Contract Trials (FCT). * Assist the other ACU 4 OSRs with coordinating day-to-day tasking according to the ACU priorities, ensuring that PMS377 logisticians, technical representatives and the appropriate field activities remain apprised of developing supply system issues * Assist the Government in assessing the shipbuilding contractor's performance for production scheduling adherence to current repair processes, qualification of contractor personnel to perform specialty processes, and overall competency * Plan and coordinate the installation of ACU and NAVSEA directed LCAC modifications * Provide a comprehensive OSR report of ongoing technical issues for PMS377 * Interface with CNBG OSR regarding issues impacting Naval Beach Group 2 (NBG2) and/or issues requiring CNBG2 support * Provide and coordinate feedback on ACU 4 PMS * Coordinate with PMS 377 SSC OSR on LCAC to SSC transition.
