PCA Based Sub-Assembly Quality Inspector

ATS has an exciting line of high-performance test systems that support the semiconductor industry around the world.

Advantest Test Solutions, Inc. (ATS) is looking for a Sub-Assembly Quality Inspector to join our team in Lake Forest, CA. This individual will be conducting visual, parametrial inspections on assembled material that contains PCA (Printed circuit board assembly), metal frames, harnesses and thermal components to accept the assembly to proceed next manufacturing step. This role includes accessing a production management data system to refer work instructions and record the inspection results. The role is very important to ensure quality of our products within a short production lead time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Inspection on assembled items in our production


  • Quality inspections on PCA based modules consists of electrical components, metal frames, harnesses, Thermal units.
  • Following inspection instructions made by line lead.
  • Accessing production data tool to refer the instructions and record your inspection results correctly.
  • Understand standard processes that you are assigned to follow them.
  • Working on the production floor where wearing an ESD controlled coat and ESD strips is required, in order to avoid damaging ESD sensitive materials.
  • Take training assigned by line leader.
  • Follows 5S, ESD control policy.
  • All other duties as required and as assigned.
