Warehouse Inventory Control Supervisor Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Investigates inventory discrepancies and takes appropriate corrective action to resolve. Investigates bin location variances and takes appropriate corrective action to resolve. Research warehouse order problem/issues for the Distribution Center. Inputs data into warehouse management system, databases and reporting tools. Performs system entries to maintain inventory and bin accuracy to include cycle counts, pick exceptions, damages, lost bin, found bin, pick paths and bin maintenance. Collects, maintains, and provides detailed statistics and reports on various performance measurements. Performs to quality standards in multiple functions. Maintains material and bin master data to ensure proper and efficient handling and placement. Assists with slotting program aimed at effectively maintaining efficient product handling Maintains Shrink reduction program identifying root cause and eliminating damages. Ability to develop training materials and implement for both classroom and one-on-one training. Review/Report control failures to Operations Manager for immediate course correction. Analyze business processes and translate. Review and Authorize Inventory Adjustments, i.e., breakage, write-off process, Transfers/Trades, Scraping, and product recover/destruction. Ability to quickly understand business needs and translate that understanding into a form that leads to the creation of better solutions. Communicates with Warehouse Management System Configurator to modify, add, or delete material movement strategies to optimize material handling. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervises Inventory Control teammates in the warehouse daily operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving |
