Position Description

Deque is looking for a field marketing manager to join our Marketing team. In this role you will help drive demand using digital means to promote physical events like tradeshows, meetups, and sales dinners across North America. You will use digital marketing (email, social media, advertising, blogs, videos) to help drive demand before, during, and after events.

As a key member of the team, you will help plan and execute events in tight collaboration with the rest of the Demand-gen Marketing and Sales teams to help bring digital accessibility testing to developers, designers, compliance leaders and accessibility advocates everywhere.

Our ideal candidate for this position knows exactly what it takes to make an impact at a variety of tech tradeshows, how to put on a compelling roadshow and how to enable local Sales teams to host delightful event experiences. They also know their way around building and driving a campaign plan to support events as demand and pipeline generating engines and the importance of pre, during, and post motions to do so.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute a systematic approach to conference event management and logistics.
  • Manage and measure the success of events, iterating after examining results.
  • Running point on conference attendance, booth staffing, lead collection, communication with conference organizers, and providing onsite direction to Deque sales and leadership teams.
  • Lead in the creation of supporting digital assets surrounding an event:, landing pages, emails, event resources, social posts, social graphics, videos, printed materials.
  • Comfortable liaising with BDRs to advise and direct their outreach to prospects to set meetings pre-event and post-event.
  • Lead in sourcing, managing inventory of swag and physical booth management. (We currently use Postal.)

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience managing and executing events in B2B tech.
  • Highly organized and detail driven.
  • Experience listing to prospects, customers and Sales to continually improve event experiences and outcomes.
  • Expert Hubspot user.
  • Experienced with LinkedIn and social media posting in a professional setting.
