The Coordinator of New Student and Community Relations helps connect prospective students to NWACC by sharing admissions information, building relationships, and representing the college at high schools and community events. This role supports enrollment efforts by engaging with students, parents, educators, and local organizations.

Essential Duties

  • Serve as a primary recruiter for NWACC, managing the recruitment calendar and planning on-campus and community events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high school counselors, students, parents, and community organizations.
  • Represent NWACC at high school visits, college fairs, job expos, and other outreach events.
  • Provide admissions information and guide prospective students through the enrollment process.
  • Use social media, email, and text messaging to communicate with prospective students.
  • Work collaboratively with other college departments to support recruitment efforts.
  • Maintain accurate student inquiry and applicant records in the college's system (Workday).
  • Assist with hiring, training, and supervising Student Ambassadors.
  • Organize and lead campus visits and tours.
  • Maintain a presence at NWACC's Bentonville and Springdale locations.
  • Travel locally using a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed). Most travel occurs during the workday, with occasional early mornings, nights, and weekends.

Rate of Pay: $19.76 per hour

Infrequently, exposure to louder noise levels or physical activities, such as moving lightweight materials, might be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Two years of experience in program administration, student services, or a related field.
