The Director, People Systems Workday HCM drivesourPeople Systems strategy, and collaborates withthe People FunctionandSystemspartners to continually improve digital tools forour people.This hands-on rolereports to the Snr Dir, People Systemstoadvanceasystemsstrategy that supports businessneeds that include system implementations, business process design/redesign, vendor selection, change management, and current-state assessments of both a technical and functional nature.
TheDirector, People Systems Workday HCM has a deep understanding of HR processes and practices, security, data integrity, system configuration & design, system enhancements & upgrades, andexpertisewithin several areas ofPeopleSystemsincluding Workday Core HCM, Workday Security, Reporting, Employee/Manager Self-Service &Onboarding/Offboarding. You will drive,influence,and collaborate with the People TeamandSystemsteamas well as stakeholders across the organization to identify solutions (tools and processes) that meet business needs.

- PartnerswithCOE's, Leadership and Transformation teams to deeply understand and translate business needs intosystem's needs, architectural requirements andimplementation/executionplans
- Leads thePeopleorganization in digital innovation byidentifyingand integrating innovative trends and approaches based on insights gained through industry leaders, vendor partners and internal stakeholders.
- Providedomain thought leadership inPeopleSystemslandscape, by challenging current thinking and providing practical and innovativesystemssolutions to solve frictions inend-to-endPeopleprocesses
- Facilitates collaboration across the organization to create and cultivate a culture of innovation and boost internal creativity through newsystemsand thought processes.
- Supports thePeoplefunction with creative solutions and new applications that promote efficiency, effectiveness and new thinking inPeoplebusiness partnership and support.
- Drives the adoption of 'best practices' to ensure standardization ofPeopleprocesses across the company.
- Works collaboratively with Human resources and IT to recommend systems improvements and procedures to streamline and automate processes.
- Establishes principles and drives quality and consistency across systems architecture andmethodologythat deliver effectivePeoplesolutions.
- Aligns with corporate strategies through strong business and technical thought leadership.
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
- 8+ years of Workday HCM experience
- Certified in Workday HCM
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- Deep expertise with Workday is essential, alongside knowledge of leading-edge industry best practices for digitalizing end-to-end People data and processes
- 8+ years' experience in People technology implementation and operational process improvement.
- Knowledge of HR principles, legislation and key components of end-to-end HR processes.
- Ability to translate HR business requirements into actionable system configuration or process enhancements
- Demonstrated track record of project leadership within complex organizations requiring strong influence management skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work well through ambiguity and complexity, confidence with senior stakeholders and a sharp focus on the right outcomes
- Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills with ability to facilitate systems strategy, requirements and architecture conversations with all stakeholders (management, business users, and systems resources).
- Flexibility to move easily between operational troubleshooting and strategic planning.
- Ability to manage multiple consulting and vendor relationships, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to change.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
